Currently, I am in the process of finishing off the music medley that was mentioned in the initial reflection. I was asked to work on two music medleys (one for the beginning, one for the end of the showcase) using songs that were used in previous Culturama showcases. I am finding this process challenging, but fun at the same time.
Working with music is something that I enjoy doing. However, many songs came from cultures that I was unfamiliar with, so I sometimes found it challenging to work with them. Though working with them helped me gain a better understanding of music culture that I have not worked with before.
I am excited to see how my music medleys will contribute to the final Culturama showcase.
