Fishing has been something that has always been one of the main hobbies that I had to get me away from all the stresses from the IB. However, I started to record the fish that I caught especially by a picture of the fishing along with its length.
I did this to be able to record my catches and so to look back on them, but I also did it because I felt that I was not giving the hobby of fishing its respect. I felt that I wanted fishing to become a more integral part of my life and tried to do so by recording my fish and lengths and even bringing other people to join me and to give them any knowledge that I had so that they could fish to the same level as I could and thus get more enjoyment out of the hobby. But back to not giving the hobby the proper respect. I tried to record the fish I caught because I think that it helped me value the individual moments (those individual moments being the individual fish that I caught) a lot more and thus cherished the hobby much more. My idea to do this also came from my mum as she would usually insist on taking the individual photos of the fish but I did not think it was worth it at the time.
But not only did I start recording the fish I caught but I also started to do more research in order to make my fishing experience more enjoyable, this would often be more interacting with the general community, in particular, a certain fishing store owner who was very helpful in giving me information that greatly improved my fishing experience.
