what are you looking forward to, or dreading this school year?

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO

  • art

this year I am looking forward to my favourite subject and as well as setting challenges for myself within it. This year in high school we will be working with the subject more seriously than in the previous years of school. This is a big opportunity for me to improve my skills and knowledge of the subject. Events such as art showcases and displaying our work will let us gain experience that will help us in the future as well as showing our hard work to others and getting to feel proud of your work.

  • enterprise

getting the chance to pick new subjects that could help you in the future is a big responsibility and you have to be aware of what you are doing, and for me, I am glad I chose enterprise as one of the subjects. the subject gives us a bit of an inside peek in a life of an entrepreneur and it’s an important opportunity if you want to be one in the future. We will be doing different projects that will be interactive and educational, I look forward to gaining new knowledge that would help me when I am older

THINGS I AM GOING TO DREAD THIS YEAR

  • tests, assessments

something that we can all agree on is that tests and assessments are something none of us like to go through. having to go through the stress and dealing with different problems at the same time isn’t easy, especially knowing that your parents will be expecting the best from you doesn’t make the situation any better. Of course, the idea behind them is to give the teachers and our selves an idea of where we are in our learning, but you can’t help but feel crushed when you don’t get the grade you wanted.

Comment Ran, Kai and Rayaan: Good insight, really personal. You showed self awareness and were clear with your answer. One question would be how are you planning to deal with the things you dread? Good Job!
