Op Eds – Navigation Protocol

I think this lesson taught me how to analyze articles that are op-edsĀ and it taught me the structure of that particular type. I used to think that op-eds were mostly articles that were pure opinion based that said ‘i think this’ ‘i believe this.’ It was slightly surprising that ‘I’ was never mentioned and it was mostly fact even if it was quite biased. Instead of making me want to write an op-ed, I think this lesson showed me that it wasn’t exactly what I usually do and an op-ed isn’t a very reliable article. I’m still unsure of the proper way to write an actual op-ed as the article I read was very disorganised and confusing.
