In Tiger Watch we have been communicating actively with ‘Forum Haumakita’, an organization that we help out as a global concern. They aim to conserve Sumatran tigers and have successfully saved many. Nowadays, the communication between us and them has increased drastically, and we have been discussing ways to improve their tiger conservation efforts and ways in which our global concern could help. We also organized a Writer’s Fortnight section, in which we cooperated with Forum Harimaukita to offer grade 9 students a possible topic choice for their editorials. Through this, we were able to further expand the awareness around tiger endangerment and possibly even attract future members. Overall, my involvement in Tiger Watch has allowed me to realize the global significance of tiger endangerment and taught me invaluable lessons in collaborating for a greater cause.
