My first week at Singapore

Uncategorized

Half excited, half nervous. That was my emotion before I was leaving Korea. However, for some reason, after landing on Singapore the anxiety was nowhere to be seen and I was really excited. At Thursday, I met Alan : a friend I got close with during the interview sessions. I also met a lot of other people as well. I got to meet even more people after joining the boarding house.

One of the good things I really like about living in the boarding house was that you always got people to hang out and play sports with you. Normally my friends in Korea were always busy so we mostly didn’t have a chance to do sports (it was extremely hot as well). Originally I was worried about meeting bad roommates ; but that concern disappeared after meeting the roommates, they were nice and friendly.

For school, I was not used to the “moving around the hall to get to another classroom” thing at first, but now I think I’ve got the hang of it. Since it’s the first week, I don’t know much about school, but I hope I will understand more in the future.

In conclusion, I have really enjoyed my first week living in Singapore. And so far I do not regret making the choice to study in UWCSEA.
