Here are some river jokes:

* Where do fish keep their money? In river banks.

* Why didn’t the hipster swim in the river?  It was too mainstream.

* I like the scenery around river valleys.  Some are absolutely gorges.

You might think that you are tide of these river jokes and ponds and fish that it’s over, but you are actually just in de Nile.
