Creativity- DJ club reflection 3

LO1- Identify their own strengths and develop areas for growth
DJ club is reaching an end. At the start of this activity, I thought that this wasn’t for me because I had never used a DJ set before and I am shy to a certain extent. Mixing songs in front of my friends was quite terrifying at first because I didn’t know what to do and wasn’t confident at all. However what I realised was that most of us participating in the activity were on the same boat. Many of my peers hadn’t mixed songs before. This made me feel better. After a few sessions I started to become familiar with the equipment and developed some basic skills. Of course some days my mixes sounded terrible because I tried new and different things. However this helped me learn new skills as well. Towards the last few weeks I really started developing some skills and gaining more confidence. But sadly it was the end of season 2. This season I’m busy with other commitments but I definitely feel that I will do this activity in grade 12.
