I made several dishes this week. My focus for the week was “time-saving”, and two of the dishes were made in around 30 or fewer minutes during weekdays.

The “Niku-miso” allowed me to continue practicing my dicing skills, and now I am very confident with it. My mother was surprised with my improvements, as I have become noticeably faster than before. The “Oyako-don” is a famous Japanese “donburi”. This matches both my focus on Japanese-style cuisine, and “time-saving”. I believe cooking during the weekdays had allowed me to improve my speed, which is another skill I have decided to try and develop throughout this year.

Next week, I would like to focus more on constructing a “kondate”, which was my initial focus.
