Christine a volunteer for TWC2 came to talk about. She talked about the problems of transient workers in Singapore and why they happen and what could be fixed. I feel that the main point of this talk was to shed light on the problems of the transient workers. Like the Robyne Hayes talk, I feel that this talk didn’t help us as much for our English syllabus reading or writing skills. It was more like a showing whats wrong and the different problems going on. I didn’t really understand the point of this talk as a writer’s fortnight talk and not as a different assembly about the problems of transient workers in Singapore.
