I believe that nobody owns culture, because the culture is known as what a group of believers do and people believe. The definition of culture is the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society. This shows that somebody can’t own social norms or what people believe in. Different people have different interpretations of certain cultures. People don’t own cultures but they can influence cultures in their own way. Also, countries and their beliefs and other religions can also influence certain cultures because what they believe in can transfer over. Also, people can identify with cultures but owning a culture is not possible unless you are the culture. For example, if there is a social media influencer that a lot of people follow that could become a culture. Therefore, that person would technically own that culture however, generally, cultures are based on countries religions etc.
