What kind of people are willing to undertake such a dreadful business as murdering innocent women and children? What kind of society produces such callous killers?

I believe that people are willing to undertake such dreadful businesses due to the lack of income, family troubles, possible psychotic issues, social constructs and different belief systems. In some cases, some villages honour individuals who murder other tribesmen. Many individuals might do it for themselves, they might believe that it is their purpose in life and is therefore not wrong in their eyes. Their upbringing, society and personal beliefs can alter their perspective on murder. Some are not economically happy making them result in becoming a murderer because if done right can provide a large sum of money and not too much skill. These people can still live a normal life, whilst committing their crimes, it does not always mean they are crazy etc they just want to live a fulfilled life and provide for themselves or others. Sometimes children are brainwashed to do these things by organisations or individuals. Child soldiers, for example, are captured and brainwashed since their minds are still learning and cannot differentiate between right and wrong and will always follow the individual in power. Sometimes individuals are pressured to commit murder in fear for their own life or their families etc. Overall, there are numerous reasons for individuals to commit such crimes and it can always be perceived differently.
