Jah and Kay activity shows different perspectives within people in these two types of countries.In real life scenarios, people in developing countries have that perspective on how wealthy country have this intention of helping them but at the same time expecting something in return. For example,Kay intention was to really help without expecting anything back whereas JAH intention was not to receive anything from the wealthy country because they could take their country from them.
Trust, communication and giving people a chance is important for us as peace builders.From the activity, JAH created a symbol that represent their country but they did not ask get any help from Kay and I think it would be great if JAH did asked for help because it can strengthens their relationship in the future.
In the activity,JAH was talking about how they want to keep their symbol as original as possible without the influence from the outside world.I think that take us to the direction when we are conducting conferences it’s important to understand and know different cultures, values beliefs etc because it will lead us to the right direction without offending anyone.
