The society that we are living now has lots of issue that are happening now. Gender inequality is one of the issue which related to #metoo movement. The #metoo movement makes people to be aware of gender inequality and racism problems that are happening around us. In IB concept of identity and representation, #metoo movement changes the Television entertainment the representation men and women, which they will be more carefully putted the gender in to the same place. Furthermore, the television entertainment show producer will be thoughtful to avoid anythings factors that make the relation to show gender inequality and racism. In past, the identity that shown in television of women is the ”tradition women”. Now, women shown in television are ”modern women”. Tradition women is which women stays in home and serve for men family members which shown lack of freedom. Women was ruled under the society. Modern women is the opposite, it shows women relevant existence within the society. In South America, the Catholic countries, women are fighting for their own right in their own culture. The other example is Japan. In Japan, sexual harassment happens frequently within their society. Is shame for women to said it out loud. Besides the shamefulness, even they said it out it will not really getting much support to resolved the issue. Therefore, in these two cases, what they are in common is their declaration is to stay away from the domestic violence, due to it against women’s right. These global issues are related to #metoo, and the #metoo movement helps to caught the attentions and gather the support globally.
