What challenges so far?

Only just starting CAS these past couple weeks, there have been very few challenges surrounding CAS apart from remembering when and where my activities are as they are basically an addition of the school, requiring time, effort and critical thinking. However, in the near future, I see that time management is going to be a concern, focusing on academic work as well as the CAS reflection and requirements. Nonetheless, at the moment, everything seems to be fairly manageable and doable.

First CAS Post

What aspects of CAS are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to the different activities chosen for CAS, as they are something different and not my usual go-to activities and services.  Apart from starting the new activities, I’m looking forward to the new skills I will learn and testing my own self-management skills, to see if how I am doing and how I will adapt my plans for the rest of the year.

How might you plan your year of CAS in order to maintain balance?
In order to maintain balance throughout the next two years, my plan is to mainly maintain my self-management. Such as making sure I have my academic tasks done as soon as possible, leaving time for the CAS activities and my own free time, something that will help me manage stress and other things to make it an eventful and successful year.
