This year I learned that I should prioritize the people in my life who for the majority of the time contribute to it in a positive way that makes me happy. I feel like I challenged myself to talk to new people this year which I feel like I did achieve however I want to still carry on working on this. In terms of academics, this year I think I just learned that when there is something that I need to get done, I will get it done but often I find it hard to just work on things when given a long time period to complete it. I think this is because I’m so busy with work this year that I try to prioritize any free time that I get, but I want to get better at procrastinating less and managing my time more effectively. Academically I’m not sure what my biggest achievement this year was honestly because I feel like I’ve done a lot of things just because I’ve been told and I have to, rather than having a desire to do it. I’d say I was glad that I completed two IA’s and my EE draft before the summer so that at least those are out of the way, and I was pleased with the end product of all of those pieces of work. Next year I want to work on making sure to manage my time as best as possible and keep trying to put myself out there and step out of my comfort zone to make new friends.
