Hello!

Welcome to my first post ever,

This is my first week of grade 9 and has been a very hectic one. The constant meeting new people and having awkward ice-breaker conversations got old really quickly but seem to be coming to an end. This week I also was invited to attend one of the SEASAC basketball teams trainings/preseason sessions along with my friend Shyan. Unfortunately at the end of the session we were told we weren’t going to make it and were cut from the team. I wasn’t extremely surprised as I was the youngest person there (but not the worst) and instead of taking the news negatively, I hope to use it as encouragement and fuel myself to train harder this year. Fortunately Mr Douglas, (the coach) did tell me that sometime in the future, I will definitely be point guard for his team, I just hope that its soon. This week I also had my first Spanish class where we had a surprise test to see which ‘level’ of class we got into. I found the test had a very mixed difficulty, during the vocabulary sections I was able to translate with ease but it the grammar/conjuration it was much harder and without recent practice I struggled in some areas of it. As my title says, this is also my first post on my new portfolio. On Monday most of our school also tried to log onto the site and ended up crashing the entire site. For the rest of the hour and a half no one was able to log on and we ended up just waiting around the entire block. This is just a small in-site on my first week of grade 9.
