In the first two weeks of service we did nothing much but got to know each other better as well as sat together in small groups to brainstorm ideas pertaining to how we were going to render our service to the seniors. We worked our heads around ideas involving the methods we could use to collect the stories, some of the prompts we could use and the resources we could access (source of photographs, of interactive games, conversation starters)

In memoirs of the pioneer generation we normally work in pairs when doing collaborative tasks such as brainstorming and exchange of ideas. The person i was working with was always friendly and more interactive thus it made it easier for us to liase with each other and come up with sound ideas. It is however worth noting that i am one person who takes some time to adjust to new ways of doing things therefore from my own personal opinion the extent to which i was collaborative was not up to the standard i expected. My partner used to be the most dominating during some information sharing sessions which i was not comfortable with so i intend to loop that hole a bit to ensure equal contribution.
