today was the writer’s fortnight which I went to listen to Mr. Murray’s astonishing story. it was was unexpecting, I thought it was amazing actually. the story was about Mr. Murray growing up with the younger sister who did not really feel like being a girl or a female then, she transitioned to a male instead. the story was pretty short, but the exciting part is where the questions come in.
many people were curious about the relationship between him and his “sister” before and after “she” transitioned to a man. Mr. Murray mentioned that back then when they were both younger, there were not very close where they never talk to each other very much. but in the past few Christmas, they have gotten closer and been more supportive of the idea of transgender. I think it also applies to his “sister” as well, more of encouraging other teenagers and adults with their experiences, to like the way they are and live well in the way you like.
