This is my 4th week into grade 11, and things have been going smoothly so far. I was really stressed in week 1 and 2, but I have started to settle down into the rhythm of G11. My work load definitely increase, so time management is an important factor for success. There are also new things that we need to do, which is known as CAS and the FOA in English. These are essential things that we need to do in order to pass IB. In season 1 and 2, I decide to try to fulfill as much CAS requirements as possible as this is when the workload is the lightest. I hope that I really enjoy my activities and by the same time manage my time so I also don’t fall behind on studying.

G11 is quite relaxing as we have free blocks to complete homework in school, but for me, there is stress before tests. There is even more stress when you fail a test! As the teachers predict our grades, so I feel that it is essential to give them a good impression, therefore, doing well in tests is important. Every score counts in IB, so it is very important that one takes this seriously. Although sometimes I am tired in class, it is very exciting to learn completely new knowledge and challenge myself along the way. I haven’t had enough time to reflect properly on how IB has been, but I hope that I can regularly consolidate my newly learnt knowledge and be able to utilise it in any situation.
