These are some of the notes I took when looking into the final short story of the book. I listed some of the techniques that I noticed, along with some evidence supporting this. Afterwards, I looked into articles about ‘The Things The Carried’ and the motif of happening-truth and story-truth to gain a better understanding of both this particular short story and the book in general.
