Collaboration

As a part of the Psychology Society, I had to work with a fellow member to organise a social media page, presenting viewers with mental health-related information and, in the future, more information surrounding the activities being organised. This allowed us to collaborate on some page-related decisions, and ultimately, even through disagreements, create something that we hope can have meaning and significance as the club finishes other simultaneous projects for us to promote.

As a part of the History Society, all members had to make groups and take part in quizzes, get involved in historical discussions and prepare presentations surrounding a major historical event. This was fun to do, there were lapses in knowledge, differences in opinion as well as clashes in choices for the presentation, but all in all, it was really enjoyable to look at the subject outside of class, without the limitation of the IB syllabus. Researching different topics was also quite illuminating, considering the variety of subjects we looked at, as well as the varying opinions of the people I was able to collaborate with.
