Learning Experiences for 2018

I have had many learning experiences this year already. I have found ways to study and do homework that works for me. One way that I have learned to study is to summarise my knowledge from the week. This can help because just before a holiday there are so many tests and having a summary sheet or a mind map for each week of the unit can make studying easier and in the long run I can use these notes later on for exams. Using a web or Cornell notes can help even if it’s not for summarizing. This can be for a topic that I don’t understand or a subject like History when there are many events and lots of information to memorize. Another learning experience is for doing homework and school work. Something that I learned is that if I write notes in class I have to review them at home. Different people learn in different ways and I am a visual learner. Doing hands-on things and relating them back to the topic is easier for me than sitting down and copying notes. Later on the year, I will add to this post to document my learning throughout the year.
