Where am I a Local?

I often find myself not being one hundred percent confident with the way I answer to the question “Where are you from?”. I was born in Japan, and raised in China and Japan. I moved to china for the first few years of my life before going back, and then moving to Singapore. I have never stay’d in the Philippines longer than a month at a time, and the only relations I have are through my blood and my passport. Every time someone asks me where I’m from, I always say that I was born and raised in Japan, but I’m from the Philippines. If where I’m from is in terms of where I’ve lived the longest, I would be from Japan. If it was dependent on where my relatives were from, then I would be from the Philippines. If it was dependent on where I was raised, I would be from China. It’s clearly evident that I do not have as many relations to the Philippines as I do have other countries.
