Censorship and Fahrenheit 451 // English

In my opinion, censorship is not ideal for a world that should be living and thriving. I do not believe that people should feel like they are unable to understand an issue, simply due to censorship. Societies should be able to challenge the people in it, for them to grow through discussion, and to develop through arguments. A lot of Bradbury’s book shows the disadvantages of the way some people envision our world to be like. Some people may want to prevent people from seeing things that may offend them, but the things that offend some people are the stories and challenges of others. One should not be able to scrap history, after all, who are we without our challenges and our stories?
