Over the past two weeks, I have been taking part in an asynchronous summer program from RISD Continuing Education called Introduction to Product Design. It’s been really interesting to see the development through the design thinking process, below are all my assignments for this course.
The first assignment was on design principles and displaying them through two pieces of work.
The second assignment was to make a product visioning board, testing out two potential ideas to continue to further develop.
The third assignment was to concept sketch the two ideas from the product visioning board.

After that, I selected the bike rack to further develop because I saw it as a problem that I personally would like to see solved.
Then I designed a product packaging for the rendered design.
I then designed a mobile application user interface for a model of what my final product online purchasing might be like.
Then finally, I prototyped my final design as displayed below.
