Coming in to school today, I was rid with a handful of questions regarding my extended essay and how to structure it, what to write. However, having been given ample time today to do my research, I have answered many of them, such questions are, “How did Scots-Irish come into the USA to kickstart Appalachian music?”. I was able to note down 4 to 5 more websites that have rich text that aid me with understanding the intricacies of folk music.

Now as I am about to end my extended essay day. I feel less nervous and am more composed with what I need to do in the upcoming days in order to meet the deadline of 1000 words on the 22nd of May. However, I will still require a lot of help on analysing the pieces that I have chosen, I will set up meetings with my supervisor in order to get on task.
