During our planning process for project week, we got a message from ISOS and Aggie explaining the dangerous situation in Jakarta due to the presidential election. ISOS gave a hot zone (central Jakarta), where we were not allowed to go to. Unfortunately, our activity was located in the hot zone, forcing us to change it last minute. Moreover, we did not book accommodation as we were aware of the situation in Jakarta and the possibility for the trip to be cancelled. This decision was very helpful as our planned accommodation was located near the activity and was in the hot zone. We were able to cancel the activity and change our accommodation to an area close to our creativity outside of the hot zone.
During project week, our 5 days were separated into 2 days of service and 2 days of creativity. Our last day was off due to the activity being cancelled.
