LO2- Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process​.

It’s the first time I join a dance activity at UWC. learning to dance is a challenge to me. It is very hard to control my body to move in the intended way. I am also not very sensitive to music beats. We practiced in front the mirror in the dance studio every Thursday to improve skills. The dance leaders Ami and Ayami would teach us the movement. One thing special about Japan dance is that we need to keep arms and legs straight most of the time. It was emphasised a lot of times but we still sometimes forget. We also used the claps to add sounds as part of the performance. It is a very nice dance. It’s beautiful visually and the music is also good. I’m proud of it in the end. I’m also proud that I learnt a dance with the help from other people in the dance group.
