In this shot, we are given some hints about the context of the time. The color scheme and clothing choices suggest that this takes place in the 1970s. This is post-civil rights movements. The temporal context implies that this is a time where although the African American community may have constitutional rights, there is still bias on a human, societal level. This shows the evolution of racism and its shift between the conscious very clear racism that are shown at the beginning of the advert, to this more hidden and unconscious bias. This allows for the advert to develop its themes beyond just basic bias, it is creating the narrative that it bias takes different forms throughout time but is ultimately the same. It transcends generations and forms.

Another aspect of this still is the idea that he is in a cage or behind bars. This is an allusion to another idea that is brought out in the outfit, that being Police brutality. This is the most modern form of racism seen in the advert, and in referencing it here it provides almost a foreshadowing of that.

The shot is a medium close up, this is in order to bring all the attention on his emotion and facial features. Features that are portraying feelings of longing and desire to be on the field, and in a broader sense to be accepted and included. This attention is emphasized in that the background is blurry and he is the only thing in focus.
